H8 side light angel eyes bulb

How much are the oem ones and can these be had other than dealer?

I don't mind the yellow glow to be honest and like how pronounced they are in the day versus some aftermarket white type clearer ones which look smart in the dark but hardly noticeable in the day

Not sure for the H8 ones, but my bulb went, and the dealer quoted £33.
On bmminiparts, I could get em for £25 + vat + shipping.
Taking the order total to £39...

I am torn between getting LED's or sticking with OEM.
Like you, I dont mind the yellow either. Like you say the after market white is not as good as the new BMW's white and cant really be seen by day.

Nothing really appart from the whiter light, which IMO gives the car a more modern look.

But they aren't as visible to the standard yellow glow during the day, correct?

Correct, the standard yellow does show up better than the white. A lot of the white LED's struggle to illuminate the outer ring also.
I have just bought some 20W bulbs so will see if these are any different.
There will be pics up by the end of the week.

I changed mine to the LED H8 and can confirm that the outer ring is somewhat of a disappointment.
