Nice work as well although surely you will get pulled for the red tint sooner or later as it looks like a rear brake light?
G10 is being kind enough to send me an e90 light to have a closer look at before I make any promises. So keep your eyes peeled on updates for e90 lights. It is definitely possible to add led rings to them, it is only the opening of the lights which I want to look at.

In regards to the red light, I did this to mess around. I WILL NOT BE OFFERING THIS OPTION, because It has not been tested for longevity.
They look fairly bright close up but from any sort of distance, the red light is drowned out by the bright white LEDs. So it is something you would only notice if you were walking by them at a car show... When I put my low beam on, you can not see the red light one bit.

@Mega a pm should be with you shortly.

Almost finished mine today. I went for gloss black internals with Luce Produkt rings from the USA. Pics suck due to being taken indoors with poor light.

Angels off:

Running off a rather flat 12v car battery:

They're very difficult to capture properly but look really good in the flesh. It was a bit of a ballache and I still have to remove the old sealant so I can apply the roll of new stuff I've bought

Looks like a great job mate! And the lights look awesome against the carpet hah jk.

When you reopen the headlight to clean the old glue, can you still realign the outer angel eye so the main gap between the LEDs is centered at the top? Little things like that can irritate me. Or maybe they are and it's just the pics?

Well spotted, the outer angel moving up a few mm in the pic, but the other headlight is pretty much spot on. Having done this, I have a lot of respect for you and your work.

That looks sweet. I have seen this done on a few other e92 to on this forum or google images.

You should put an orange led as side marker, e.g. Like the ones on e90 lci and e92.
If know what I mean lol.

Keep up the good work dude.

Cheers Idnan. Does take some balls to play around with the expensive lights! I am Impressed you did yours so well first time!

Bedition lots of people in the states do this kind of work. They are well ahead in terms of custom shops out there. Funny thing is, they all do what they kind to remove the orange side marker, through coding etc... It takes away from the white angel eyes.

I have been doing a few jobs for people that have found literally followed and stopped me on the road. If anyone is interested, get in touch.

Best,

Best,
Any advances on the e90 headlights?

Done a bit of searching and there seems to be two techniques, heatgun and screwdriver or dremel - to cut them out.

I've done the old screwdriver and heatgun on a set of Focus ST headlights I blacked out, took about 4-5 hours to split both, pain of a job.

Have you sent the lights mate?
I had a family bereavement on the 6th feb and I will be back n the country on the 19th. S if the lights have arrived they are at the office. I will jump right on the case the minute I am back.
Is that ok?
