Hi, I've been following your thread with interest. The mods your doing are very subtle and fitting the car very well. Have you changed the front fog/driving spot lights? if so could you please let me know where you bought them from as they look great.
Cheers, Flute |

Perfect mate. I was searching high and low for how the front aero lip would go on an SE and your pic has just given me a good enough reason. Right... Front aero splitter + rear lip is next on my list... u shud lower it now - it's looking sick! Could you please post up a couple of more front pics so I can see the aero splitter from various angles?
Also, is installing it easy (i.e. DIY for dummies or best taken to garage In your opinion?). I'm keent o do it myself and learn but don't want to mess around with it if it's not a DIY job? I have lots of tools and lots of outdoor space (no indoor garage space or ramps sadly :-( ... any instructions or so would be really useful (not just for me but many on here I'd assume!). Great work so far and rly liking what you've done so far.. |

Hi guys, sorry for the late response but was busy attending the British F1 GP over the weekend and getting back offshore.
Thanks, boot spoiler is a genuine BMW part and was purchased off a former member who had some bad luck with the 335D he bought. He has since moved to the Mercedes Mob. Quote:

Fitting the Aero Lip is child's play. Best have a mate or 2 to help out when sticking it on so everything lines up right. FYI, I used No More Nails double sided tape for both the rear and front lips (the red stuff, really strong) and has hit the limiter a few times without falling off. It also uses 5 of the screws under the bumper holding the undertray. I had it on my old mans ramp as it was better than crawling about on the floor but it's not necessary. Only tools you will need is a ratchet and an 8mm socket IIRC. Just in Case anyone's interested here is where I applied the tape for sticking on the front lip.

Old I know but... How did you find the brake disc buddy? Noisy? Any concerns and your thoughts compared to OEM?
Any reason you only went for grooved and not, for example drilled and grooved or dimpled and grooved? |

Boosted hasn't been on for quite some time. He was selling all his mods and planning to move on to an M5 last thing we heard. |
