That was me. I am having serious issues trying to launch my car.
Reaction of .3550 60 ft of 2.36 1/4 of 13.3988 1/4 MPH 107.72 MPH Here is the crazy part. At the 1/8 mile point the m5 had me by .5667 of a second. At the end of 1/4 mile I had him by .0156 of a second. So in the second 1/8 of a mile, my car made up .5823 of a second. If I would have did my normal 2 gal. 92 octane with 2 gal. of trick 109 octane (what I did the previous month with trap of 110), I probably would of walked the m5 by 1-2 cars with a horrible launch. I rolled out there that night on 3/4 tank of normal 92 octane and paid the price. Anyone with 6 speed manual have any advice for launching the 335??? I have tried traction control completely off, partially off, and on. My best results have been with partially off (i.e. only hold in the button for a second, not the 5 seconds). I also don't have a dp yet, just waiting on V2 and practicing my launch!!! Also, the first race with the m5 I had to go into revese to get both lights to come on for the start and when I went back into 1st gear, I accidentally put it in 3rd gear (don't have a girl rubbing your leg during pre-race prep) too much of a distraction for me to handle : )

I run the rpm up to about 3500 and SLIP out the clutch while flooring it. Don't dump it. Computer off. and CDV valve is gone! That made the biggest difference!
