Monaco Blue w/ Black Rims
Anyone have any pictures of this? I'm debating doing it, but I know monaco blue looks like black sometimes so I don't want it to look weird. My car is a 2008 335i coupe.

Personal preference but I think silver rims on Monaco looks much better. There is no contrast with black rims, looks kinda murdered out and less classy.

I had the same debate, ("light vs dark" but in grey not black) so I 'shopped matte grey vs silver and posted a survey here - silver won over the grey by a considerable margin and I am now inclined to agree after seeing afew examples in person on the street although I went into it thinking maybe the grey would fly. Having said that - it was NOT unanimous, so it still comes down to taste.
Here is a Monaco E91 with both Silver and Matte Grey Breyton GTS 'shopped on quick-and-dirty. |
