Running rough

Hi guys ok so I'm having a problem with my 335vert it's a 2010 production date 9/13/09 with 25k miles. The car drives fine when I'm not in paddle shifter/tip-tronic mode, when I change over to tip-tronic mode the car does some thing crazy it shake and start to loose power then the service engine soon light comes on then after a few second maybe 20-30 the service light goes off and the car start to run fine. This has been the 2nd time it has done this since I got the car 2 months now(haven't been able to drive that much due to the crazy weather we been getting here in NYC). I'm not sure if its the HFPF that's causing this but I've check my vin and there are no recalls on the car. What could this be?
