Need help from the wheel & tire experts
Hi,
FIRST: Im currently running 20s on my e90 prelci. 20x8.5 et35 245/30 front and 20x10 et33 285/25 rear. Is there a way to run a wider rim in the front on a pre-lci? SECOND: If I want to go back to 19s and run 19x9.5 et35 front and 19x10.5 et27 rear, what size tire can I use that wont have the stretch look to it? Will I need spacers up front? Thanks in advance for any help

Im no expert ,but anyway. You have coilovers right?
Then you need spacer to front, otherwise it will hit the shocks.9.5 et35 is 2mm from stock shocks. 3-5mm spacer should be enough (don't know exact thickness), but with 10mm spacer you get hub centric one. Here you go many examples. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...21&postcount=2 This E92 with 19x9.5 et35 and 245/35/19 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=679925&page=2 But if you decide to use example 10mm (et25) spacer you are not able to use very wide tyre. 235/35/19 is probably the max and if you add even thicker spacer then 225/35/19. Unless you add more negative camber. 18x9.5 et20 225/40/18 and 18x10.5 et20 245/35/18 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=737286 This one has basically the exact setup you are thinking http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=801899

As for the rear. Both are used. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...14&postcount=9 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...37&postcount=5 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=791857 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=252394 Difference in diameter would be smallest with 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. Only 0.02 inch. With 265/30/19 you get more clearance and tyre stretch would be similar to 235 front.
