Buying Michelin Primacy MXV4
I'm planning to purchase 4 Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires with speed rating of H, which also has a $70.00 rebate when buying all 4 tires at Costco. Can anyone who has used this tire let me know what they think of it,thanks.

They were barely adequate on my wife's SAAB and overpriced to boot. If you want a top notch non RFT all-season tire, I'd strongly recommend the Continental Extreme Contact DWS.
And the price should be slightly less than the MXV4s after the Michelin rebate. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/CompareTires.jsp Tom |

There are many iterations of the Michelin MXV4. Those who are commenting should make sure that they are referring to the Primacy MXV4, which is different from previous generations that were OE on various Hondas. Most of those were the older MXV4 S8 and Energy MXV4 models.
The Primacy MXV4 is currently ranked pretty highly in our testing and survey data (#1 in its category of grand touring tires), but it is a tire that gives up some handling and steering response for a soft, quiet ride and long wear. The more aggressive drivers that are typically on this forum typically opt for sportier choices. Tires http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH8&...ires/index.jsp

another option is Perilli zero nero All Season, good all season tires and cheaper then other Michelin tires. very smooth ride as compare to others.

Another similar option but slightly more sporty is the Michelin Primacy MXM4. A little better handling, but at the expense of a little noise and tread life. A good fit for a daily driver, non-sport BMW.

I had MXV4 on my Chrysler 300M PHP 2001. Very, very smooth ride and no noise coming from them. But this is not a performance tire so, don't push them to the limit of the car and under the rain, they slip a little. Lasted around 70000km ( 45000 miles).

I have Primacy MXV4 on my 2007 328i and I'm more than happy with them. My BMW is just a commuter car and these tires are smooth and quiet. Currently have ~30K miles on them and there's no reason I wouldn't get them again. My tires were from Costco too.

Purchased the MXM4 at Costco, I've driving with them for about a week now and I like it them so far, much quieter and smoother than my prior tires which were RFT.
