Angel eye headlights
Been looking at buying some angel style headlights but now reading that you have to have headlamp washers and the need to be self levelling? How can you get around this without having to fit new bumpers and other bits and pieces? We have a 61 plate m sport at work with the angel type lights but that doesn't have lamp washers? Do I need to fit OEM lights to be legal?

You only need the self leveling and washers if you plan to fit Xenons which I think you might be getting both confused with each other?
Angels eyes refer to the ring that goes around the headlight. Like so. Xenon refers to the actual type of bulb, it outputs a lovely crisp bright white light (opposed to the horrible yellow halogen bulbs) as seen here: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...jk7x7dIsiEs6B7 |

Legally you can fit the angel eyes, xenons - no. However I don't recommend aftermarket headlights, I've already done that and the light output was terrible.
Have a look about for some LCI halogen lights which have the angel eyes built in and look a fair bit better than the pre-lci headlights. |
