New Mod!!! Must Read!!! - 335i Exhaust...

OK after looking and reading a lot of info from yaw'll I decided to go ahead and try to make the best use of the factory exhaust.

1) I removed the X pipe and replace it with straight connecting pipes.
2) Replace the compressed right exhaust pipe from X pipe to the exhaust. (factory pipe is compressed to fit neatley under the car but you can run a pipe without all the crushed points.)
3) Where the two exhaust meets each other at the back you will see a small pipe onnecting both exhaust, cut the pipe and plug it.

Well it paid off big time, the car sound like a muscle car on steriods and the I definately gained some HP. I will submit sound clips in a few. This is by far the best exhast mod I have done with both aftermarket and OEM exhaust.
Now the car has dual exhaust. The turbos spools up much faster like when I had on Magna Flow exhaust. This is a must do mod, i'm not kidding. It will cost around $150 or $200 depending where u live.
One of thee best thing about this mod is you have the stock look and the performance of a high end exhast system is what you have, BMW exhaust is one of the best exhaust system out there and by doing this mod you will definately retaing that.

Thanks,
Dave

Well first off I think we need some pictures and definitely need some sound clips. Secondly, some dyno numbers would help.

Not sure what you did here that would cause the turbos to spool up much faster.
Primary and secondary cats are still there along with the baffled stock exhaust.

I've heard of this before. I believe it's called the "Placebo Effect." lol
