putting sport suspension on an xi model??
Ive done some searching and can't seem to find it. All I have learned is that the xi models do not come with sport suspension. My question is can you put the sport suspension on an xi model?? (i have an 08 328xi).
Thanks |

I have an 07 328xi E90 and it has the sports suspension. One question: About how long does it last, or when should I expect replacing the shocks/struts/springs? I have ~82K & 3 bent rims due to the wonderful PA roads.

After 82k miles with 3 bent rims, Id be changing the struts and wheels sooner than later Your sports package may have size 18 wheels. Maybe consider 17s? Much more meat in the tires. |

Its defiantly has the sports package, it was a $1,200 option, just checked the original window sticker as I was curious. I tried to attach. I was luckily suckered into purchasing the wheel and tire replacement when I bought it CPO 3 years ago so I have just about re-cooped all my $$ @ ~350+ per rim. You recommend just the struts. OEM or an aftermarket Bilstein type?

OEM Struts - well, oem ride aftermarket struts - different handling springs/strut - lowered ride, different handling I have the Eibach/Koni combo, love it. The lowered ride sure doesnt help with the snow though. I should sell the OEMs I got laying around. Not planning on putting them back on. |
