Procede Harness, O2 Signals

I was just looking at the Procede harness (actually uploading V1.47 on a bench and no, it is not installed yet) and noticed that for what I assume are the O2 signal leads, there is only a single connection to the Procede. I was expecting this to be a In/Out configuration like what is being done with the Crank and MAP signals but appearently is not the case.

Obviously it works but I was curious how. My assumption would be that a variable or mux'd in resistance is added pulling down the signal when desired; most likely causing the ECU to think it is leaner and add fuel accordingly. But wondered if anyone else had some across how this is being done.

Just curious as I like to understand these types of things prior to installing them.

Come on Shiv, how about a small indicator, no specifics as I am truly curious and will be placing an order to further the Procede install on Tuesday.

Also, any tail pipe A/F ratio tests done for comparison? I will be going out in the mornign to do some logs with my LM-1.

Ah, got it now. Voltage is applied/reduced with a set resitance to vary the current and to get the desired A/F ratio. Makes more sense now as a variable resistance (not a decade box) value isn't as easy nor expected in this type of device.

Actually, not lies in this case I suspect, as there is nothing to gain and now makes more sense. Plus, the name-that-should-not-be-mentioned has nothing to impress or persuade me with.

I also forgot about reading about the wideband units being current based which now makes adds up. For me, this is all I wanted to know as I knew an analog channel was used and before it did not click. And once again, was just curious.
