How do you know for sure that it was caused by the weather and not say a burned out sensor or wiring issue?

That still doesn't explain that you know the culprit is the weather for sure, it could've been timing issue that was a coincidence.

Anyways, if you think this is weather related, then don't worry...the light should go away when the weather cools down, right?

PS I've been driving around the last several days here and the weather is 100-113 degree, and I got no warning lights at all.

i doubt its the weather..... you got guys in dubai driving their cars in 100+ degree weather with no problems (except limp mode).

maybe just a sensor

is this a joke? have you never had your washer light come on before? it goes on and off all the time when it gets near the warning lvl im sure the next time you drive it it will go on again, or maybe not until the time after that
