Navigation and aftermarket stereo system
Does anyone know if the aftermarket stereo system will interfere with the OEM navi? I don't know if I should get the navi option because I want to put a system in my future E90, fearing that the two will not work together......Any input or advise is appreciated.....

Check out the forums on e90 post dedicated to audio and other electronics. But the short answer is possible but difficult to deal with aftermarket stuff on an e90. I wouldn't go with a shop that hasn't done a few recent model BMW's before.

Oh.....and I have always put aftermarket systems in my previous cars but gave up with the e90. Just too much integration and too nice an OEM system to mess with it.
I miss the slightly better iPod integration of my Alpine HU, but I don't regret staying OEM. The BMW iPod integration is probably the second best I've seen after the Alpine and the sound quality is very good. |

Pretty good reason to keep the stock system, and to have specc'd a higher unit from the factory.
