Hi, does bmw long life 04 comply with a 2008 330d? Just spoke to the guy who is selling it apparently it is suitable for DPF cars. But I'm not sure.

Thanks for that, my brother has a VW bora tdi a d it had on the bottle suitable for long life 04 so might use that stuff on mine. Don't need doing for a while so

I have just been in to my dealer to book a service, they wanted roughly £110 for 8 ltrs of oil, I can buy it of internet as per link above for £56

Is that 5w/40 stuff ok for a 330d then? I thought we needed 0/30?

Any advice appreciated, bargain price that!

I ended up getting the 0w-30 as advised by the garage.

Couldnt wait for wilkinsons, needed it now.
