I have an 06 e90 330i. It has 140k miles on it. I havent really had any maintenance issue, just recently had spark plugs replaced as well as three oil leaks fixed, valve cover gasket,oil filter housing, and oil pan gasket, by a BMW cert master tech. The other day I drove to discount tire to have them replace a valve stem on my wheel, the guy walks out to the car and it wont start. I had been driving all day starting with no issues at all, not even slightly long crank, then all of a sudden out of no where it just wont start, It cranks strong and for a long time, but will not turn all the way over. the battery is good, been tested plus recently replaced it. Took the negative wire off the batery to reset the ECU just in case it was a code preventing it frm starting. Nothing....so I had it towed to the BMW mechanic i use. Just trying to get an idea of what it is before they tell me, It sounds like the fuel pump to me...any ideas? Thanks guys.

Could be that, crank sensors, cam sensors, or intelligent battery sensor. When they read codes they should be able to make a determination.

Ok thanks, still havent got a word from the place i had it towed to, called them today and they said they will try and diagnose it this afternoon, but nothing. Im very preoccupied anyways as my daughter was just born this weekend. but still would love to know what im facing with the car.
