Oil in charge pipe?

Today I installed a er charge pipe and tial bov and love it however after removing the stock charge pipe I noticed there was oil inside the charge pipe on the intercooler end and throttle body end as well. Not like a ton of oil but enough to get your hands dirty. Is this normal or could I potentially have some internal issues?

Sounds like you blew your motor....kidding. That's normal. It's blow by from the PCV system. Get an oil catch can. It's completely normal though, nothing to worry about.

It may have an oil cooler, but no BMW comes with an oil catch can!

Garage List
Definitely didn't come with a catch can...

Order the BMS Oil Catch Can, its cheap and super easy to install! Well worth the $

Good Luck and enjoy modding....
