powder coating charge pipe?
has anyone ever powder coated their charge pipe? I have an ER charge pipe in the brushed aluminum color and I'm not really liking it. So I was thinking about getting my charge pipe powder coated but didn't know if the heat in the engine bay would cause an issue. I was also concerned about fitment issues with connecting pipes because I am unsure if the powder coating will be too thick and alter the diameter slightly.

Powder coat will handle the heat just fine. Also you should be fine when connecting pipes. To be safe just have them tape the ends like so

Powder coating is fine, how do you think they do it? They heat it up! The silicon couplers may be a little tight, but nothing a little soapy water can't fix.
