10e a02 recall failure to update ecu
hi guys,
Long story short i recieved a mandatory recall, brought my car to the dealer then SA told me that they cant update my ecu because of aftermarket parts. Dealer have no ideal what causing the failure. Anyone here brought their car with fbo for this recall and had issues? Any input would be appreaciated. Thanks. |

If you retrofit a module they may have issues programming the car, but hardware mods shouldn't be an issue. I have CIC retrofitted instead of CCC nav in my car and when the dealer software looks at it, it just stops and says to replace the CCC.
