Btw my car takes around 8 miles to warm up or 4 miles of stop and go traffic. It can take a while. It's the same for all e90/ usually.

So far my to do list is:

* Replace main thermostat
* Paint my wheel hubs - the rust on them has annoyed me since I got it but I've never got round to doing it
* Smoked repeaters are now on order per AdamC's suggestion above :P
* Possibly ACS style roof spoiler - but not too sure about this.
* I think I may get the alloys resprayed in a dark gunmetal or matte black colour once I'm bored of the silver
* I was also thinking about retrofitting paddle shifters
* Wheel spacers all round

But with the rear brakes, road tax, and MOT looming around the corner, I don't think I'll be doing most of these for a few months
sounds gd bud lots plans will look smart, yeh i got the smoked side repeaters to. have a look at my build thread if you wana see what gunmetal colour wheels look like on your car. mine are up forsale and 19's

Interesting. So your diesel has a water temp gauge rather than the oil temp gauge in the petrol cars, does it?

Tyso335 - I definately like the look of gun metal alloys, and I would be tempted to take yours off you, only I haven't got an awful lot of spare cash laying about this month, and I've only just bought new tyres for what I've currently got!

Nope it doesn't have any sort of temperature gauge! I only know it by going through the hidden menu on the dashboard..

Before I replaced the thermostat, the car would only hit a maximum of 62 degrees, and would take about 30 minutes (~20-25 miles) to get there

After replacing the EGR thermostat it would get to around 50-55 degrees within 3 miles, but then slowly increases to a maximum of 78/80, so I'm hoping replacing the main thermostat will make it warm up alot quicker and make it able to get up to the 90 or so degrees most others are running at.
