M3 E46 Brakes swap on E90 330I SP

My friend got Big Brake Kit for his E46 M3 and don't need his stock brakes any longer. Can i install his M3 brakes (calipers) on my E90 330I sport package?

I am pretty happy with my brakes but I think M3 should be better?
Is there any modification required to swap them?

Otherwise, I would just buy new StopTech Slotted rotors and Hawk High Performance pads.
Please let me know what you guys think.

no. unless you custom fab them to fit.
