It's going to be a long season. I was able to catch a spring training game in tampa against the O's. They gave up 5 runs and 2 errors in the first. Joba looked good with is spring stash. Maybe w/o any pressure this season he becomes what he should be, the closer after Moe.

One year I'll get down to spring training. I hear it's a great experience. Anyhow, this might be a blessing in disguise. I would love to have everyone healthy, and ready for opening day. However, maybe now the Yankees will get younger, and faster and play small ball. A lot of teams now have a nice mix of young players, and a power hitter. I understand they want to get their payroll at $189 million, which is fine. However.their ticket prices are premium and fans expect a premium team on the field. I would love for them to lower their prices, and put players on the field that grind it out, and not play the way they did against Detroit in the playoffs. Lowering ticket prices, in my dreams. Let the games begin.
