I've found my Le Mans Blue paint seems to vary with the amount of sunlight. When the car is clean and its sunny it really does stand out. As in the colour looks more vivid than montego blue.

When its overcast the montego blue seems to be more vivid as it has a purply appearance.

That's what i've seen anyway when comparing side by side on the motorway or in car parks

I would agree with this - The Le Mans Blue is stunning when clean but looks particularly dull when dirty. I would still say Le Mans Blue is my favourite colour though

Yes, there is a touch of 'purple' in Montego blue. I like it though!

It depends on the look you want, IMHO Le Mans can look a bit "boy racer" in some lights, of all the colours it could be seen to be a bit "look at me". I'm not saying either of those are bad things, just that they are possible (at least to my eyes) reactions to it. I was close to choosing it.

bit OT but you have to remember looking at cars in pics on here or elsewhere on the web is about as usful as a chocolate kettle...

Colours will be all over the place.

I REALLY wanted space grey, but they didn't do it as an Msport colour - so went for black. Am actually so wanting to keep it looking nice I started to clear the garage to be able to put it away properly.

I really liked the the graphite colour, but get ANY motorway glaze on it or a dash of dirty rain and it just looks PANTS ! really dull. I wish we lived in Joburg or Cali, cars always look clean and sparkly out there...

Heck remind me why the hell I've just bought a convertible

I've seen that too, and I dont really know why. But I've been careful to take pics of my car in the right light and angle.

Lemans looks very different in different lights IMHO....one of the reasons I didn't buy it - I saw it in a light where it looked fairly dull and we don't get lots of sunshine here in UK!

My last car was a cabrio so I got used to the look at me factor.

Nowadays its look at the f****r going sideaways round the roundabout

First time i'd seen montego blue was when I seen a 320si in montego blue at the stealers when collecting mine. First thing I thought was - Didn't know I could get it in that colour
