For sale is a used but like-new PicoTray from TEC Accessories. Rather than have a wasted space for the ashtray insert, this 10 second modification replaces the stock piece with a handy sticky notepad, business/credit card holder, and magnetic pen.

Designed to fit 3 Series models: Sedan 325i/328i/330i/335i 2006 to present, Touring or Wagon 325i/328i/330i/335i 2006 to present, Coupe 328i/335i 2007 to present, Convertible 328i/335i 2007 to present, and all xi versions, as long as your car has the stock ashtray insert with the pop-up cover (just pull it and it comes out). This is not for the cars that just have an open pocket in front of the shifter.
