As far as I'm aware, these kits are for small surface scratches. You can feel my glass has got chunks out of it!! Wa at first hoping it could e fixed but I think I was just kidding myself at the time to make me feel better.
Thanks for the help anyway though.

Most insurers cover vandalism damage without affecting no claims, but even if yours don't then thankfully yours is just a window claim, like a smashed screen,

Good luck getting it fixed..
Thanks, that's unlucky what happened to yours!
I'm with Admiral, wil ring them up this morning and see what will happen.

Admiral definitely cover vandalism with no loss of NCD, even serious panel damage etc.

Didn't get a good look yesterday as I had to rush out to work but the A pillar has paint chipped, there's bit of glass sticking in it.
Going to bring it round to a garage close to me that does repairs to get a quote of what they reckon it'd be to fix it, then ring admiral up and see what the deal is if I should get them to do it or do it myself.

UPDATE: went to a local repair garage and got a quote for fixing the damage.

Was going to cost £90 for the glass & with VAT & labour about £170 in total.

The gloss trim has also had paint chipped and was told I'd need a new one which would be around £350 or so for a new one (one side!)

For window and trim + VAT & labour was around £680 or so to repair

Wanted to get that first before ringing insurance just to see what it'd cost to repair incase not covered.

Rang insurance and luckily they do as most of you guys informed me cover glass damage without affecting NCB with an excess of £75 to replace or £25 to repair, but needed replaced of course.

Although they told me it may affect me come renewal time fs!

Glass sorted anyway, & may see about getting the trim touched up in the near future but would have affected my NCB to get it covered.
