Newbie - Hopefully around for a while..

Hi Everyone,

Thought I would introduce myself on here, signed up recently and have been using many useful sections on here, very informative forum.

I used to own a 120D M Sport and I loved it, but I wanted something bigger, more comfortable, and more powerful, yet somewhat economical on my 60mile round trip to work each day.

So after looking for ages, I found the car for me on eBay, which turned out to be owned by someone who used to work for the same company as me and I collected it last Monday.

So here it is.. My Black 2007 330D Coupe

And so far, all I can say is I love it. So smooth, powerful and I am really pleased with it. I would like to change a few things eventually, and give it my own touch but first I am just going to spend some time going through everything first, brakes, hubs, underneath, wax oil, proper polish and get it as it should be before I then move on to adding various things.. Wheels will be fairly soon, not sure what type yet! (Not even sure what sort of wheels I have on there!)

My other car, although not officially mine, but I use it every day at work and look after it is a 2012 M3. I work at Snetterton Race Circuit as the Track Operations manager, out of Race Control, I do the safety car and also for race meetings and my means of transport is this:

The previous 2010 model.

So that’s me really, if anyone has any questions about track days or any MSV events, by all means ask and I will help out best I can, no doubt Ill see some of you at Snetterton in the future.

J.-

congrats on your new toy bud! loving looking motor and they run sweet! would definitely advise a remap as the gains are very impressive from the Diesels! it definitely puts a big smile on your face when you put your foot down and feel the torque!

good to know we have a contact at the tracks now

Get to drive an M3 on track all day and then practical, economical but quick diesel for your home life.

Car looks great, congrats and welcome

Nice E92!

I sit at a desk all day staring at stupid buildings in London.

You sit with your right foot planted on the loud pedal... I'm not jealous at all.

Can't beat the sound to be honest, although with the 6.8mpg current average I am glad I don't have to drive it home!
