Got rid of RFs, Spare tire Options?

Just made the switch out of RFs. However as many have asked before, what is the best option in terms of when I get a flat?
Should I invest in a tire fix kit?
or
a slime kit?
or
Get a spare tire? I currently have 18" wheels, but all the spare tires I see are 17". Will that be a problem if I get 17" spare while the other wheels are 18"?
Do they make 18" spares?

Thanks for your advice.

EDIT: Has anyone ever used fix-a-flat? Product description says TPMS safe... Slime doesn't mention TPMS safe.

17s should be fine if the spare has close to the same overall rolling diameter tire on it. Cars with 19s or 20s usually don't come with that size spare. Just a smaller size with a bigger profile tire.

It's not "safe" possible damage or bad readings to the tpms

I do have AAA, but if you read my other post, I still had to pay $100 to bring my car into the shop since it was over 5 miles (i have the classic membership)

Depends on your AAA package. I only have the classic, which is free tow for 5miles. The premium is 100 miles. Then the other upgraded one is 200 miles.

I was out 20miles of the shop
