Sorry but I'll take oem sport suspension over BC any day. And you don't need to splurge $3500, there are many options that price in between BC and JRZ/Motons that are much more trackworthy than BC.

I agree, avoiding fade is a safety issue but I'm not running 10-15 laps at a time. Most of my "sessions" are 5 laps or so and then break. When you have access to a track as much as I do, you don't feel like you have to run all day to get your money's worth.

So I'm interested in specific coilover recommendations.

Not sure if AST 4150's have been released yet for the E92 but that would be my first choice. If not, I'd also take a close look at TCK and Ground-Control.

i heard the bc's were actually ok...and tell you the truth ive been tracking a couple times and my car never over heated however it was when the temps were only 75 degrees.

im not an experienced driver but i pretty much keep up with all the suped up mustangs and evos and what not so im not slow, but seems like this car holds up pretty well.

my water temps were always around 100 degrees celsius and oil temps were 230-240 degrees Fahrenheit...i know the oil temps could have come down a bit but is it really that bad?

brake fade wasnt there at all and i pressed on the brakes hard many many times, but i do have stainless brake lines but not track worthy ake ceramic pads.

overall i love my car whether on the street or track or at home when im working on it.

i would get the ohlins road and track with camber plates if you want really nice. that will run you about $3k but its well worth it i think...i have the tc klines and they are nice but i would love to try that set out.

if you wanna go a little cheaper and maybe slightly used then id sell you mine so i could buy the ohlins =).

To be honest I've yet to see a good review on BC's from anyone who tracks their car. It's usually guys who buy it for the stance/looks/value. And I can't help but laugh a little when I see a company offer 24-30 click adjustments. Can you imagine if you lost count and have to start over? "Wait am I on 17 or 18?"

lol that is funny but arent some m3 track guys running bc's? either way im not sure it was worth getting the tc klines over the ohlins

It seems like Ground Control might be the best way to go given the price and the fact that they come with Camber Plates. Reviews seem pretty good.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Ground Control. I'd probably spring for the D/A's if I was doing it again but thats it.

The less you spend, the more adjustments you get!

BC's are not optimal for the track, they have almost no compression damping and a ton of rebound. OEM sport would fare better.
Not to mention the leaks the cheap coilovers are known for ...
