2007.5 vs. 2008 335i... no real differences, right?
I know a lot of people are a little skittish about buying a car in it's first model year, and given the troubles people have had with their oil temps, fuel pumps, and iPod adapters in the early model 335i, I can understand why. Sure, BMW has the 4yr/50K warranty, but nobody wants to have their car in for service all the time even if it's free.
I ordered maybe one of the last batch of 2007 335i's produced, as it's supposed to be here in mid-September, and most people are getting the first 2008s in late September/early October. I've read a lot of the threads on here as I've been waiting for my car, and it seems that BMW has worked out a lot of those problems with the early 335i by adding the oil cooler, changing the HPFP, and even doing little things like changing the shift knob on the auto and some other things. Basically, it seems that they addressed the known problems mid-model year. So then, it would be accurate to think that the late production 2007s should be pretty much identical to the 2008s, minus the depreciation based on being 1 model year older, right?

Plus I heard that the Premium Package on the 08's also has BT. lol
I know that's not the kinda answer you were looking for, but that's all I can contribute to this thread at this time. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't have any of the same problems that the initial batch of 335's had. Unless of course they still never really fixed it. If that were to happen then it really wouldn't matter what year model you had 'cause you're still screwed. lol

Correct. Car manufacturers are constantly tweaking the product throughout the model year. I would expect that the difference btw a late production '07 and an early '08 would be minor. The difference btw the two being different option pkgs, colours, etc, if BWM decides to change any of that.
