Dashboard Warning

Does anyone know what this red warning actually means ?

Is it safe for me to continue driving or should I be rushing to the garage

Any advice would be greatly appreciated please, thanks

Looks like your brake fluid is overdue for change? 03/2013 suggests march it was due for change? Should be fine to drive just needs to be changed because of the hydroscopic properties of the fluid?

Hope someone else can verify or correct me!

Sorry mate, didn't have it to hand...went through the control symbols pdf, it did not list this symbol unfortunately..Thanks for the information tho..

Thanks mate, Dave thinks it's the coolant ? I thought it could be brake fluid too ? I've got it booked at the stealers on Saturday, should get sorted then

Thanks for confirming it was okay to drive...

I was under the impression the coolant lasts the life of the engine (unless leaking) what age is your e90?

Hopefully your stealer can confirm what the fault is! Can you update me please, I'm interested

As mentioned that its for brake fluid change.
Paid Â£60 to my local bmw specialist to get it changed.

I agree, that's definitely a 'brake' symbol. Anything coolant related would be represented by something resembling a thermometer.
