I was concerned that it might make the car difficult for my wife to drive. (Of course, I can always switch on map 0 for her) It's hard to describe except that everything is just 'more'. The power is so linear, it's obvious that it's pulling harder, but the only clue to how much faster it really is, is how quickly everyone else fades into your mirrors. There is a definite sound change too. The exhaust note is 'throatier' at WOT.
Install wasn't too bad, but I had to watch the Youtube video a few times to make sure I was doing it right. Components seem to be of very high build quality. Also, the tip about pulling the ECU up a little bit out of the box to re-install the large plug is a must!
Today I'll play with the steering wheel controls a little to get familiar.

I can see how you can do these quickly once you've done a couple. I was being overly cautious because I didn't want to do something dumb and fry my ECU.
I did it myself (rather than pay someone, as many do) so that I would be familiar with the un-install should I have warranty issues.

Finally got mine in today as well!

Set mine on map 5. Now while I did feel an obvious power surge through the 335, and the new sensitive gas pedal, I felt a bit let down (maybe a softer word). I was kind of expecting stronger pulls maybe? Maybe I haven't driven it long enough for it to auto learn as yet... and the only mods I really have is an Injen intake (also use 93 gas).

Hopefully some runs on the freeway will make this baby pick up more. I'm not disappointed, definitely happy just feel maybe there's still more power to be released-hopefully.

Did you give it 3 WOT pulls in 3rd gear to set the auto learning up to speed?

Do the WOT pulls work in map 1, or only map 5? Can I run map 5 on a stock car?

No. The other Maps are fixed. Map 5 is generally the best for a stock car then Map 1. Map2 needs downpipes unless the car is a 335is then it just needs 93 octane fuel.
