Warranty questions

Hey Guys quick question I'm going in for the battery recall fix and i know how mods and warranty laws work but I was wondering does BMW flag your car for mods so if there's a future problem they can tell you your car was previously modded. Or should I just leave them in since the battery is in the trunk anyway.

Most dealers will only mark it if they are performing work that deals with that aftermarket part or system. Like they won't mark an FMIC if you're going in for suspension work.

They shouldn't need to go near the engine comp. for this recall. I had mine done with JB4 on map 0 an DCI installed. No problems. YMMV.
