OEM Caliper Colour

Thinking of freshening mine up.

What colour were they when they rolled out of the factory?

Most standard calipers seem to be a silver colour although they are not a painted finish.

If you could buy 'rust' as a spray colour you'd not be far off!

I've used some high temp matt silver spray paint from halfords for £8.99. I'll post a pic later when I get on my laptop. Looks OEM enough for me

Ive used that high temp paint from halfords i find the finish just doesnt last

if you wanna use something that will never fall off and allways cleanup use silver por-15 bit of a faf to prepare and use ,but the the most hardwearing paint in the world and thats no joke ,classic car enthusiasts have started painting the underneath of there cars with it recently and the stuff will last forever ,its better than powerdercoating

BMW must have listened to early complaints then because my 07 335i was terrible. The M3 comes with matt black paint. To be honest these calipers are that ugly the colour that hides the them best is the one to go for.
