TPMS sensors '11

Will TPMS sensors within an a set of wheels from a 11' 328 i work on an 08' 328xi? Are TPMS segregated to specific years? Advice thank you!

the sensors changed in the 2010 model year, so no they will not work.

no, they wont fit, there is RDE008 and RDE012 for BMW tpms and RDE017 for all F30's.

Good to know.

I just bought a used set of 269 wheels with tires for my 2010 328i e90. Wheels were pulled out from 2005 E46. The seller installed them on my car. A couple of miles on the road, I got TPMS Malfunction error. The TPMS reset is grayed out

Not trying to hijack but please advise if I have the correct setup. Front 225x45x18 (18x8) and Rear 255x40x18 (18x8.5). The rear tires are almost gone and need replacement. TIA
