What is the best ECU money can buy?

I know there are a lot of different types out there, and everyone has their opinions on them. I have done several searchs on the different types of chips out there and reading on people's opinion, but I am curious as to the major differences of each (if any) and what would be the bang for the buck and or people's top 3 choices.

Thank you all in advance for input and opinions.

btw, this is for a e92 335i

Search the forums - there are several threads detailing this info as well a private comparison of many of the piggy-back ECU systems.

Yet another thread started for lack of doing a search...

The OEM ECU works best but the Best piggy is uh Procede lol....

PROcede V1, then upgrade to V2. I expect you asked for the best, not for the cheapest
