E9X M3 Front seat adjustment post removal

Not having much luck on the M3 side so thought I'd throw up the question here.

Have had my front driver seat replaced a BMW Performance seat awhile back and recently got a Logitech GT Force Driving steering wheel to use in conjunction with GT5.

So the short of it is I want to use my OEM drivers seat but it is slightly reclined forward and not very comfortable. Is there a way to manually adjust the recline position without having to hook up power to the seat?

If you do have to power the seat anyone got tips on how to do that with relative ease?

Thx
Jon

Ha, nice gaming chair!

There must be a way to turn the recline mechanism by hand, have you looked underneath the seat or taken the base trims off?

Or put a block of wood under the front!

I've split an m3 seat and it is all motor based except the tilt function to allow rear passengers in (if yours has it). Only way I can think is to swap it with you passenger seat and adjust it.

Use a 12-14V adaptor to power and connect it.
Connect pin 4 (red), pin 7 (red/black) or/and 9 (red/purple) to positive terminal of the charger.
Pin 8 and 13 are ground (brown wires).
And enjoy!
