An open source flash will work with larger than stock turbos. Just saying.

From my understanding the open source platform will give us access to an infinite number of tables, as well as the ability to create our own! Look at the Evo platform! This has the potential to be an incredibly powerful resource.

What gives you the impression it will only work with piggys?

Out of the 221 tables you have access to, do you know how many total tables there are to access in the DME? Maybe ones you and Rombinhood2 have not decrypted yet?

It will work but you won't be able to fully take advantage of them. The DME logic itself does not work past a cartain MAF/load value(roughly 220 load values.) IF someone writes their own DME logic to correct this than that should take care of it however i feel like that is a huge undertaking. Like i said though, i wish you guys luck. Definitely an exciting and interesting time for the N54

Don't know if "logic" is the right word. Not a puter guy, but my thought on changes by Cobb are finding certain tables that relate and altering them. For example the MAF cap was corrected by altering the x, y axis of a particular table not seen in ATR. PTFs "race code" is potentially altering a VE, or MAF table resulting in linear boost setpoints at each RPM... other than stock decreasing req boost per load with increasing rpm. The logic is determined by the table, calc relationships that can all be altered if located.

I'm curious how tables are labeled, defined.

For those who do, they can get a Cobb and adjust it accordingly. Cobb ATR/ATP does not have any of the ignition limiter maps that we modify in our in-house flash tunes. And upon further thought, it was not in our best interest to help out competition with map discovery given with what is on the horizon. In business, we can't always make everyone happy. We do our best with what options we have and with what makes sense. But I'm happy to say this will all be a moot point soon enough. Everyone will have access to everything at a much lower price than what is currently available in the market. And we are happy to be a part of that.
So glad to see you're on board with the open source. Exciting times indeed!
