29f2 & 29e2 Codes!!

I have changed 3 injectors under warranty, 1000km ago and i noticed the above codes since then.
It happens at ~5000rpm, only when i wot with 4th or 5th gear from 2500rpm with high boost level (15+psi).
When i return in map 0 (stock boost)no problem at all.
Is it a hpfp problem or a bad installation of the injector?

there are many thread describing them. just search them up . From a quick look seems they are both related to fuel pressure so maybe a toasted sensor (low or high pressure) or hpfp.

Same thing happened to me too
V5 map0 everything is fine
I will try to use the older firmware to see if it's the firmware problems

Do you mean to change the dma firmware or procede firmware?

Did you replace them yourself or at the dealership? Injectors must be coded to the car or they will throw faults.

lol Probably another goof ball tech at BMW not coding the injectors correctly!! lol OP should refer to Vasillov's thread on injectors to check if the injectors are coded correctly! Very simple DIY that he set up!

let me guess you use V5 & aggressive map, right?
try upload 7-29 and do a test, 5th gear full throttle 2000 ~5000 RPM
If anything is fine, I think that is procede firmware.

Ok thanks i will read the diy for the injectors coding.
If there is a problem with coding is it something that i can make on my one without tools or i should ask the dealer to make it?

I use the aggressive maps now, but the problem started exactly after the injectors installation, although i used 7-29 maps and dma firmware update!

We are working on an update to the beta maps that should resolve the problem you are seeing. It's not a common problem but it's something that we are in the process of addressing. In the meantime, please run the non beta maps. Should have something released soon...

Cheers,
shiv

Thanks Shiv. Will run the 7-29 maps until there's a fix.

With the aggressive maps, I had to change OL fueling to 100 from 90. Do I have to do the same with none agressive maps as well?

Nope... you should be able to just leave them alone.

Is it a hpfp problem or a bad installation of the injector?

Had the exact same problem happen last week. Brought car in and they replaced the low fuel pressure sensor. 3hrs after getting car back the exact same problem happens again. Now they are replacing 3 of my fuel injectors. I get car back tomorow morning not too optimistic though. Will update.
