Where to rent a BMW in San Diego?

The wife and I are headed out to San Diego at the end of May for the Memorial Day weekend and I'm looking to rent a BMW/Audi/etc. for the weekend. She's never been to SoCal before and I'd love to take her out for a nice drive with the windows/top down on the PCH. Anybody have any connections on where we could go for said car?

Better bet is to make nice with your local BMW dealer and ask them to call one in SD and do a "borrowed car agreement" to allow you to take a loaner car. Will probably run you $50/day if you can swing it.

^^^

LAX is a bit too far for a rental car being that we're only coming into San Diego.

Do they rent German cars? Everything I've seen at the major rental places are cheapo econo-box Chevys and Fords. If so, I'll check them out.

hertz

if LAX hertz can have BMW,INfiniti, Mercedez, Panamera, Volvos and Audi I don't see why San Diego airport don't have them.
but I could be wrong, LAX market might be exclusive.

I always rent from LAX Hertz and get nice cars for long trips.
