Buying a Used 335i
Hey people. I was just wondering how many miles are considered to many on a used car. I'm looking at a Certified 2010 335i w/premium,sports, and navigation. Also has xenon lights. It is on sale for 28k with 40k miles. Just wanted an opinion on whether or not that price is considered to high.

I would say that's a little high miles for a 2010, but definitely not horrible. I'd try and lower the price a bit.

check what sound system you have, tire tread left and brake wear. These last two will definitely add up. Get your face up to the paint and scan the ENTIRE car and look for where the orange peel textured paint may show some very fine scratches left over from sanding under the paint. Easiest way to tell a car has been in a accident. Definetly a good price, especially for a CPO but idk if its too good to be true. Just my 2 cents

40k miles for a 2010 is not high. Do you know what the in service date is? If you assume it's 1/1/10 that would be 40k miles divided by around 40 months.
Personally I think 12k miles a year is on the lower end, 15k miles would be average, and 18k would be high
