Lease residuals and money factor
I've done a search and could not find anything.
Does anyone have the May lease residuals and money factors? I know the 1er folks publish them from time to time. Looking at getting a 335is. Thanks.

This is the offer one dealership is giving me. The payment is $734 per month which seems high. Fully loaded (manual) 335is. MSRP is $62,125. Invoice is $57,800. Sale price: $58,700 – Rebates of $2,750 = $55,950. This is with $3500 down which I've never had to do before. Thanks.

That seems high. I'd put down some money in refundable security deposits as well. I have a fully loaded 335is coming and am under 600. But that is a lot of money in money upfront, but the security deposits are refundable.

That's crazy money. My 335is listed at $60095. My payment is $580 with 7% tax on a 10k/yr lease. Start up costs were $950 with Turn key credit and low mileage lease turn-in credit. And the MF was slightly higher (.0013) when I cut my deal.

So, I got them down to invoice (this would be my 3rd BMW from them).
$57,700 fully loaded (except manual). Paying first month's, taxes (3% in VA), title, etc. comes to $2400 so that would bring my payment to $666 per month for 15k month miles. Good deal?

Much better. Here's a great website for money factors and leasing in general. It also has a lease calculator that gives you a rating on whether your lease is bad or good. http://www.ridewithg.com/

I was able to get my 2013 335is which stickered around 60k for 599/month including CT sales tax (7%) with no cap cost reduction. Essentially a few hundred below invoice and then the 1500 rebate, but no loyalty for me as it was my first BMW. Money factor was higher at the time too .00130.
I think there is some backend dealer cash on these coupes... how much, who knows... but they were happy to go below invoice for me. Good luck, sweet ride!! |

They are definitely subsidizing up to a point. I'm hoping though that at the end of my lease, with a residual of $39k, I'll have only 16 to 17k on the odometer and the limited production will boost the value enough to make it worthwhile to buy and either keep or sell.

I suppose it could potentially be difficult to secure a deal at this point. From what I've seen online, allocations for the 335is are down to a few across the US at this point. That could, I imagine, make it difficult to secure a great deal. Not sure. Either way, I would just try to be persistent. Good luck!

It looks like there's a couple in dealer inventory in the Tampa Bay area going through their online inventory but that might be all she wrote for the nearly extinct E92 as far as new goes. Speak now or forever hold your piece, as the saying goes.

So, I ended up putting a deposit on the car. Pretty happy with my deal. Got more off invoice to get my payments down to $629 a month. That's paying first, taxes, title, and fees. Test drove a 2011 with DCT (yuck). Definitely felt stronger than my 135i. Looking forward to getting my car next weekend.
