Front suspension issue only in 14k miles?

Hi Guys,
I got a 2009 e90 lci with standard suspension, the car has only done 14k miles till now, i had to give it to the dealer to get my rear bumper replaced as i was hit by a stupid fellow, anyways now the dealer has called me & told me i have a leak in the front left suspension & told me not to worry as its covered as i am still under warranty. He didn't get much technical saying bmw will replace it but i m shocked how the front suspension can act so funny in just 14k miles. I had rft on for 13k miles as i just changed to tubeless recently & the roads this part of the world is terrible, could it be the reason for all this or just a defect in the e90 lci front suspension.

Thanks..

a 'leak' would be the shock, and they can go bad quickly if dirt gets around the piston rod, or if there is a small manufacturing defect in the valving. it happens, but is not common. bad roads will only make it more apparent or go bad faster, and generally not be the cause

Measure ride height - post back.

Where exactly are you?

Were any [oil filled] bushings replaced?
