Which do I have?
Like I stated in a seperate post, I'm deployed to Japan and I won't be home till late November. I asked my mom if she could look at the tire and tell if I have the TPMS or FTM and she is clueless! The car is a 2007 328xi, so if I'm correct at a certain month in 07 the started to include TPMS?
Either way, I can't tell from this picture my mom sent because I don't know what either look like. Thanks for the help |

It doesn't look like the TPMS on my 07 Coupe. Must be the earlier version that is on sedans built prior to 3/07. I would actually have preferred that system since it doesn't require buying or swapping sensors when you get new wheels.

You have the conventional rubber valve stem and therefore FTM. Valve stem on TPMs looks like the one on this, made of metal and is much thicker:
