Looking to order wheels and tires, quick questions on width.

Im looking to order a set of staggered wheels and tires for my 07 335i Coupe. It has the sport package. Have a few VMR wheels in mind, Most people i see put 19" 8.5 in front 9.5 in back and run 245/35/19 in front and 275/35/19 in back.Without rubbing or rolling the fenders. That sounds nice but can i go wider on the wheels and tires? for example 10" in the back and run wider tires than the 275?

I don't recommend going with that tire sizing, but you can definitely go with a 10 in the rear. 19x8.5 ET35/19x10 ET38 is a good fit for your car. We generally run 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 tires on there. I've seen and heard of people running wider tires, but we can't guarantee it to be completely rub free.

It should fit similar to this:

I don't going 10" in the back would rub for 19" wheels, depending on the offset, off course. I have a 335i with sport suspension and I run 285/25/20 in the back and they only rub a little so I would think 19" would be fine.

I know some people put 19" 8.5 and 19"9.5 or 10 in the back. I have a friend who has these and is running 235/35/19 in front and 265/35/19 in back. I would like to go a bit wider so 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 what are you're thoughts on that? And if it rubs a tiny bit what is the cause and what would you recommend the widest tires for minimal to no rubbing.

Absolutely no need to go 245 in the front if you have an 8.5 inch wheel. 245 can cause some rubbing depending on the drop and offset of the wheel.

that would make your front taller than the rear. no good.
235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear is almost perfectly matching heights.

is there a specific reason for wanting 245 front instead of 235? 10mm less in tread width is EASILY overcome by driving improvement instead.

I don't recommend that, and again, I would size the profile in the rear down. The reason being that at a 35 profile, your speedo is off, and it's going to be harder on your brakes. 30 profile keeps the overall rolling diameter within spec.

so the wheels 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and tires 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19? Is that your final answer?

are you stock height?

once you lower the car, the rears will rub on dips until you roll your fenders (assuming you get the typical +35 or +33 offsets).

stock height, not planning on lowering anytime soon. Houston,TX roads are like gravel in the woods.
And yes they most likely will be +35,+33

Man you can fit a lot wider of a rim then 8.5 front and 9.5-10 rear. I would Atleast go with 9 front and 10.5 rear. You can easily fit a 275 in the rear especially if your not lowered same goes for the 245 front

I'm about to pull the trigger on some wheels . Before I do I need to make sure I get the right info. I want to lower the car now, not now but soon. First the wheels I can roll the fenders too not a big deal.

Wheels 19x9 and /19x10 with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 with the offset +35 and back +33 is that correct ?

Would this be a nice setup to give it a nice wide read end ?
