I just had the exact same problem a few weeks back. The TPMS sensors simply stopped emitting any signal. BMW refused to change them under warranty as I was running after market wheels. Discount Tire was the cheapest place that would replace the TPMS. Charged me $70 per TPMS and $10/tire to replace them. BMW was quoting $100 for "diagnosis", $100/TPMS, $40/tire and $100 to "program" iDrive. Total BS.

First of all, people keep talking about sensors. But when did they start adding sensors to E90's?? In 07 E90's ran off the ABS sensors, a difference in wheel speeds would indicate a low tire. Only E92's had the actual TPMS sensors from what I recall reading.

Either way, the reset procedure is outlined pretty thoroughly in the manual.
