I have the opportunity to buy genuine M series wheels. They are staggered size, 245/35/R18 and 225/40/R18.

check the offset, the offset on M wheels is not always compatable with E90.

Also, the staggered setup on E90 is usually 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear

Don't buy them unless you plan on putting 20mm spacers on front and back rims. Besides, they are used and the seller is asking $1600??!!??

They are style 135 for e46 M3:

Front: 18x8J, ET 47
Rear: 18x8.5J, ET 50

You are better off getting a brand new set of 260/219Mwheels and tires.

Hankook tires: $652 + shipping at Tire Rack

260M/219M wheels: (search M3 forum) or other resellers if you want 18-inch, or look for a set of 18s (real OEM style 219.) There are always some for sale in the classifieds. Price for wheels only generally ranges from $800-1000 give or take for good condition, $1100-1300 with tires.

Check out my wheels:

219M wheels fit my 2007 e90 with no problems as long as you use the below specs to reduce or eliminate fender rub. Get Michelin Pilot Super Sports front and rear for these rims, because they tend to be oversize and will fit the wheel well (no pun intended):

Front: 18x8.5J, ET29, Tire size: 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5J ET23, Tire size: 255/35/18



Another set: my winter set of style 269 reps with ContiExtreme DWS:

Front: 18x8J, ET32
Rear: 18x9J, ET30

FYI it comes with pss tyre with stock tyres which are 245 & 265 / 40/18

They will be too big front and back. Those specs are for M3. e92 requires 225/40 Front, 255/35 Rear, else they will rub.

Personally, I have plus sizes on my 219M wheels, and they rub ever so slightly, especially on big dips and bumps that compress the rear springs. No rub in front. 225F/255R will cause no/no rub, whatsoever. Wheel diameter determines capacity to rub. At the above sizes, wheel diameter is roughly 25.04 inches.

Post pics when you can. Gotta see what you finally decided. Forgot to mention that width and offsets will also determine if there is any rubbing. You really can't go wrong with the OEM specs.
