Im looking to get my e92 tinted. Does anyone know any good place where I can go? Chicago area

I have heard good things about Umbra as well, and will be getting my e92 tinted there on the 16th. They are located in Schaumburg.

i called umbra, and was told they only do 35% all around. I was looking to get 20% all around.

there is a place in crystal lake that will put any tint on. Total car total care

That's because 35% is the legal limit on the front windows in IL. I believe that you can go higher on the rear and back, but can then only do 50% on the fronts.

Umbra did 20% on my car, I had to pay cash so there was no paper trail. He is worried that you will go after him if you get a ticket. So I have no receipt that I got it done there...

Niño just did mine today, and other than a few bubbles around the edges (should go away)it looks really good. Still have to go back next week to put vinyl on the top of the rear window.

Thanks! It's 35% all around on a saddle brown interior. The pic makes it look a little darker than it really is though.

I think Umbra does it if you ask in person. He doesn't want to quote he'll do darker on the phone "just in case". Otherwise, Carl Darling in McHenry does a great job.
