P3Cars/ECU N54 EGT Sensing

Can't find info on this and have a quick question about how are EGT's are sensed on the N54, does anyone know if there is an actual dedicated EGT sensor or is this a calculated number that is read from other sensors (maybe the O2 sensors?)?

Thanks
Paul
