question about ipod usb jack

hi guys i have my car ordered but i wanna know something is ipod usb jack is an optional accesory or standart like the aux in?thanks a lot guys

btw my car has idrive if it makes any difference

The USB port is optional. You have to order the iPod/USB integration kit. The option code is 6FL. This is one of my favorite options on my car and it's definitely worth it. I use a USB flash stick in my USB port. Go back and check your option list and make sure it's there.

No. But if your car has not been built yet, call the dealer ASAP. They may still be able to get it in production. Once your car is built, you are out of luck.
