Help identifying codes
I have two codes which I am curious if anyone can share insight on what exactly they are.
2A87: exhaust vanos variable cam control test, mechanics 3100: Air charge control, shut-down They threw the yellow engine block dash light while driving this morning. Then when I restarted the car the dash light was gone. I was able to retrieve the stored codes. Any insight on what these mean would be much appreciated. Car seems to be running just fine. Changed sparkplugs on Thursday, but that's the only thing that's changed on the car recently. Thanks in advance.

Nothing?... I'm more interested in the vanos code. Is this just the vanos cleaning (which I've read about), or do they need replacement.
Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Yep the usual remove both vanos, clean them with brake cleaner and interchange them......
